Teamscope is getting a lot of requests from companies that want to start up again

In April Menchaca told us that he was in a "crazy rollercoaster" with his company. At that stage, he received requests from hospitals and health organizations around the world, from Italy to Brazil.   Teamscope is set up as a data collection platform for clinical research. Researchers can store, share and analyze data in the app. The simplicity of use and the fact that it can also be used offline distinguish the company. Especially in the most hectic period of the corona pandemic, the way the Teamscope app works offered a solution for the healthcare sector. Data was easily shared, making processes more streamlined. The app is also used by potential patients to monitor certain symptoms.   At the moment, the workload for Teamscope has somewhat more normalized, says Menchaca. “In February and March, we suddenly had to box in a much higher weight class, so to say. We are still receiving new and large requests from healthcare, but now we are ready. We now have much more experience.”

"If you do not measure, you do not know at which locations an employee with complaints has been in the days before. In my view, data collection is the only way to return to a normal society."

New sectors

Something important has changed in recent months. “Until then, our customers were almost always healthcare institutions, healthcare researchers and NGOs. At the moment, we mainly receive requests from companies from sectors that we have never consciously focused on. A large factory or an investment fund, for example. They approach us because they want to get back to work, with their employees on location. ”   “For this, they need a system to collect data. Who has the flu? Who had a face-to-face meeting, and when? For us it is surprising, but also super interesting to have that kind of new customers. We received requests from India, the Philippines and Nicaragua, for example,” tells Menchaca about the new direction.   Menchaca believes that data must play an important role in the economic build-up after the corona crisis. "To measure is to know," says the Chilean in neat Dutch. “If you don't measure, you don't know at which locations an employee with complaints has been in the days before. In my view, data collection is the only way to return to normal society. Not only data about the disease, but all kinds of data. Followed procedures, workflows and, for example, happiness at work. Perhaps someone is very stressed because he has to go back to work in the factory? You also want to know that as a company.”
