‘Chinese’ Nexperia won’t get European grant

Chipmaker Nexperia, which has its headquarters at Noviotech Campus in Nijmegen, is not eligible for a grant programme meant to support Europe's chip industry. This is according to a review published Thursday by the European Commission. The company had applied for an undisclosed amount for a battery project at its plant in Hamburg, Germany.
