The board of Stichting Ontwikkeling Noviotech Campus and Bert Krikke, director of Noviotech Campus BV, have mutually agreed to part ways. The reason for this decision is a difference of opinion regarding the course to be followed.
Over the past two years, Bert has played an important role in the development of the organization and has contributed to raising the profile of Noviotech Campus and Campus Nijmegen. The board expresses its gratitude to Bert for his dedication and wishes him success in his future endeavours.
The change in management is driven by a revised perspective on the area and real estate development of the campus. This necessitates a re-evaluation of the implementation timeline and financing plans. To facilitate this process, Oost NL will be actively involved in the reorientation. Oost NL has been a key contributor to the development of Noviotech Campus since its inception in 2013.
Coinciding with these changes, René Penning de Vries has decided to step down as chairman of the foundation board. His position will be assumed by Theo Föllings, Director of Innovation at Oost NL. The foundation board has appointed Wald Been as interim director to assume Bert's responsibilities.
