The guests gathered in the frame of the future NTS building. Here they were welcomed with a snack and a drink. The celebration began with speeches from various stakeholders, including councilor Monique Esselbrugge from the Municipality of Nijmegen. Various parties expressed their gratitude towards the construction workers and everyone who was and is involved in building the new building.
Rikus Wolbers, director of Novio Tech Campus, welcomed NTS and wished them good luck with the construction. “Innovation is and remains an important theme at Novio Tech Campus, NTS fits in perfectly with this. I am happy to welcome you to this ecosystem.”
Subsequently, the flag was raised by councilor Monique Esselbrugge and Mrs. Wintermans, mother of Jonas Wintermans (owner of NTS). As a surprise, Rikus Wolbers revealed a miniature of the building to the NTS leadership. The miniature is on a model of the entire NTC site and can be admired from now on in building M on Novio Tech Campus.
The new NTS building will be ready for use in April 2020.
