With architectural powerhouse MVRDV – and supported by our partners in the region – we captured our vision into the masterplan 2022 – 2027.
Nourishing Meaningful Entrepreneurship
When we started Noviotech Campus, we had a clear goal: becoming the capital of Health & High Tech Innovation. Nowadays, the campus is home to around 70+ companies, providing jobs to over 3,400 people. And we keep moving forward, as the construction of new premises is starting soon!
We believe innovation in Health & High Tech – and especially cross-over applications between these industries – are the key to unlocking a future-proof society. The campus nourishes innovation and entrepreneurship within and between these sectors, building a tight-knit community of innovators in health and high tech. Only together, they can make a meaningful and lasting impact on our society, now and in the future.

1953: Philips established the largest European production plant of semiconductors in Nijmegen. 2022: Noviotech Campus has become the heart of a flourishing ecosystem where world-class chip companies work closely together – making a huge impact on our society. To put things in perspective, some facts & figures about high tech on campus:
- 3 world-class chip companies: NXP, Ampleon and Nexperia.
- Largest, most advanced semiconductor production plant of Europe.
- All cars that are currently produced worldwide contain chips from Nijmegen.
- Over 60 years of knowledge on semiconductor on site.
- 30% of phone calls worldwide use RF technology from Nijmegen.

Noviotech Campus is located in Nijmegen, a city known for being home to renown knowledge institutes like: Radboudumc, Radboud University, Donders Institute, Maartenskliniek, HAN University of Applied Sciences, and so on. These institutes are a breeding ground for innovations and talent in health. We work closely together with these partners to provide you with access to invaluable human capital and collaboration opportunities with companies and academics. In the near future, landing into the region will be even softer, via our collective innovation hub: Campus Nijmegen.

Over 2,000 years ago the Romans settled in Nijmegen (called ‘noviomagus’) making it the oldest city of the Netherlands! What better place could there be to explore the foundations of the future?
