This week the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour of Radboud University Nijmegen and Radboudumc announced their 14 Tesla MRI Initiative in Medical Science. This 14Tesla MRI scanner will be the WORLD's STRONGEST MRI SCANNER.
The 14T MRI initiative provides a national and international resource, strengthening the leading position of the Netherlands in ultra-high field imaging techniques. The additional sensitivity will offer scientists new insights into the workings of the brain. I am extremely proud this will happen in Nijmegen.
