Exciting news for Noviotech Campus. In 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿, the brand-new multi-tenant building opening in Q4 2026, a vibrant and welcoming hospitality concept will take center stage: 𝗥𝘂𝗯𝘆
Ruby will be more than a café or restaurant. It will be the place where you start your day with great coffee, meet colleagues for lunch, host informal meetings in the afternoon, or unwind with drinks. A warm, energetic space at the heart of the building and at the heart of campus life.
What makes Ruby special? Everyone is welcome. Whether you work on campus, run a business here, study nearby, or live in the area, Ruby will be an open and inviting destination where innovation and community naturally come together.
𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻
Behind Ruby are Renske de Laat and Wouter Beek, experienced hospitality entrepreneurs from Nijmegen with strong local roots. They understand the region, know the community, and have a proven talent for combining quality, atmosphere, and connection to create places where people genuinely enjoy spending time.
This week we officially signed the agreement, an important milestone and the beginning of a collaboration we are truly excited about.

With Ruby, Noviotech Campus takes the next step in strengthening its campus philosophy. A thriving campus is not defined by technology and companies alone, but by interaction, cross-pollination, and a strong sense of community. Ruby will be a natural meeting place where entrepreneurs, researchers, talent, and partners connect beyond the walls of their offices.
In the run-up to the opening, the Ruby team will actively engage with campus residents and users to understand their needs and wishes. This ensures that the concept genuinely reflects the people who shape Noviotech Campus every day.
We are also proud to involve students from HAN University of Applied Sciences in the preparations, offering emerging talent the opportunity to help shape this new hospitality experience while strengthening the connection between education and campus.
In the coming months, we will share more about the Ruby concept and the development of The Frontrunner.
For now, one thing is clear: The Frontrunner will not only offer an inspiring place to work, it will soon be home to a vibrant new meeting place at Noviotech Campus, open to everyone.
