The past few weeks have shown just how strong and vibrant our community truly is. With the national launch of the ChipNL Competence Centre on our campus and international delegations visiting from India, Turkey, Australia, Ireland and the New Dutch press tour, Noviotech Campus has been firmly in the spotlight. Talent, industry and academia witnessed firsthand why the future of the Dutch semicon sector is being built right here.
That future is also taking physical shape. Construction of The Frontrunner, our campus’s new clubhouse for High Tech & Health companies, is progressing right on schedule. It will be a place where innovation meets community, complete with an incubator offering startups and scale-ups affordable office and lab space. From compact 25 m² workspaces to full floors, The Frontrunner is designed to fuel growth, ambition and new ideas.
Meanwhile, our campus is buzzing with talent. Radboud University students work on real company challenges each week, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at the semicon world while giving businesses direct access to emerging talent. Younger students are taking their first steps into technology here as well: more than a hundred high-school pupils recently got an inspiring glimpse of the future waiting for them. step by step, students and employers are finding each other faster and better than ever.
At our recent Meet & Eat, we gathered valuable insights for the campus of tomorrow. Through our Work Landscapes of the Future initiative, we are shaping a greener, more attractive innovation ecosystem. We thank everyone for their suggestions and input. At the same time, our 2026 community program is ready to deliver a year full of new connections, deeper engagement and meaningful collaboration.
Looking Ahead to 2026
We’re heading into the new year with fresh energy. Students will continue learning and working on campus every week, and on 27 January we’ll kick things off in a big way with the Lifeport Semicon Event at the NEC Stadium, the largest semicon event in the Netherlands. In addition, we’re bringing back a diverse community programme: inspiring Meeting Your Peers sessions, monthly informal lunches, and energising fun activities such as the annual football tournament.
In short: 2026 will be a year in which makers, thinkers and innovators connect more strongly than ever. And all of that happens right here at Noviotech Campus, where the future is built.
