4Day Marches 2025: Collaboration in action along the route
During the 106th edition of the International Four Days Marches, Noviotech Campus proudly contributed as sponsor of the official Pit Stops along the route. These Pit Stops, located at one-third and two-thirds of each day’s walking stage, are key support points for registered participants, offering medical care, refreshments, and a moment of rest.
Together with our partners NXP, Radboud University, HAN University of Applied Sciences, and RadboudUMC, we ensured that walkers received the support they needed to continue their journey.
On the first day alone, the Pit Stops were equipped with 2 trucks, 4 massage tables, 4 tents, 7 portable toilets, 8 care stations, 56 volunteers, 80 gingerbreads, 200 liters of soup, 300 satay skewers, 400 blister plasters, and 800 bottles of water. Over the course of the week, 75 walkers were treated for blisters and 12 made use of the massage services along the route. While Wednesday was rainy, the other days brought pleasant weather and steady energy.
This initiative once again demonstrated the value of regional collaboration and practical support in a high-profile, people-driven event. We thank all partners, volunteers, and participating walkers from our own campus community and beyond.
We look forward to building on this success in 2026 — strengthening both regional visibility and community impact along the way.
