We are pleased to invite all HR professionals working at companies on Noviotech Campus to the next "Meeting Your Peers HR" on March 13, 2025 – a great opportunity to connect, exchange insights, and collaborate with fellow HR professionals from the Noviotech Campus community.
This time, we are excited to welcome Jan-Paul Kimmel (from NXP and member of the Core Program Team of The Economic Board Arnhem Nijmegen) who will provide an update on the Lifeport Chip Academy/Beethoven initiative.
Following last year’s announcement of the National Strengthening Plan for Microchip Talent (‘Beethoven’), our region has started working on aligning with this initiative. The Economic Board, together with knowledge institutions (ROC, Rijn IJssel, HAN, Radboud University), semiconductor companies, and local governments, is developing a plan for the Lifeport region to attract subsidies for education and development programs. This collaboration is already a significant step forward in bringing together shared interests and creating a strong agenda for the semiconductor sector.
Jan-Paul will explain the plans and how they can help in attracting, retaining, and developing talent. The initiative is important not only for new talent but also for the development of existing talent and fostering cross-sector exchange.
