In the coming years, significant investments will be made in defence, security and strategic technologies. Gelderland has a strong technological foundation to contribute to these developments, with expertise in areas such as semiconductors, advanced packaging, AI and secure data processing.
The opportunity now is to better connect these technological strengths with the challenges and needs within defence, as well as with existing facilities, programmes and funding opportunities.
Together with Lifeport Semicon Industries and the Province of Gelderland, Noviotech Campus is organising an invite-only round table with a selected group of companies, knowledge institutions, government organisations and the Dutch Ministry of Defence.
The aim is to identify where the strongest opportunities lie at the intersection of semiconductors, defence and security in Gelderland. What can our region contribute? Where are the most promising connections? And what – and who – is needed to turn these opportunities into concrete next steps?
