PODCAST // AI for Life: when is virtual sufficiently realistic?

Together with Tibor Bosse (Radboud University), Romy Blankendaal (TNO) and Eric Jutten (The Simulation Crew) we discuss questions like: what is a virtual agent, how smart does the virtual agent actually have to be in order to be effective, and can virtual-only be convincing enough or do we need additional (human) feedback. Questions that are subject of research at Radboud University and Radboudumc. For example, it was investigated whether NS (Dutch railway company) employees can be trained with the help of these agents and VR glasses, aimed at good interaction with the customer.
