PharmaCytics’ Nutrient-Drug-Conjugate technology (NDCt) makes drugs look like nutrients, by attaching a linker and food moiety to the active ingredient. In this way the intestinal wall recognises it as a nutrient, takes it in and once in the bloodstream the nutrient moiety is enzymatically cleaved off again – liberating the active ingredient.
We can turn many parenteral compounds in to an oral variant.
PharmaCytics’ NDC technology addresses a well recognised and widespread (⅓ of marketed- and ⅔ of R&D compounds) issue in the biopharma industry; control over PK-properties with a focus on bioavailability. The technology results in a lower attrition rate, less dismissal of effective compounds and providing a more optimal route of administration.
